iOS offers simplicity and consistency of operation, especially in the Apple ecosystem. Samsung is giving more personalization options and developing AI-based features.
Apple has for years provided iOS for about 5-6 years after release, keeping even older models up to date for a long time. Samsung in the S24 Ultra went a step further and promised 7 years of Android updates and security patches. This means that both phones will serve a really long time, and the differences in this aspect are already small.
The iPhone 15 Pro Max has an Action Button that can be personalized, as well as exceptional support for ProRes recording and integration with other Apple devices. The Galaxy S24 Ultra gives you an included S Pen, which people who take notes or edit photos will appreciate. Samsung is also betting heavily on AI – for example, in transcriptions, translations and photo processing.
It depends on what you need. The Samsung S24 Ultra offers a huge 6.8″ screen, a 5000 mAh battery and a versatile camera setup with a 200 MP lens. The iPhone 15 Pro Max, on the other hand, gives you smooth iOS, great optimization and cinema-quality video. Both are premium flagships – the choice comes down to preference: Android with more freedom or iOS with full integration of Apple’s ecosystem.
Samsung impresses with numbers – a 200 MP main camera and additional telephoto lenses with powerful zoom make sure you capture every detail. The iPhone relies on 48 MP and perfect color processing, and gives you the most natural video on the market. If you want zoomed photos and extensive AI modes – Samsung. If you want cinematic video and simplicity in processing – iPhone.
If you have other Apple devices (MacBook, iPad, Apple Watch), the iPhone will complement them well. iOS gives stability, fast updates and ease of use. Android, like the S24 Ultra, offers more freedom and personalization. It makes sense to switch if you want the Apple ecosystem or value convenience and long system support.
The easiest way is to choose a refurbished one – refurbished phones pass quality tests, are cheaper than new ones and are more environmentally friendly. At SWOPiFY you can also do a swap: you give away your old smartphone and pay extra for a newer model. This way you avoid overpaying and the devices get a second life.
