Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus used and refurbished

Put the Galaxy S26 Plus next to the S25+ and you'll struggle to tell them apart. The dimensions, the 190 g weight and the 6.7-inch screen are all the same. The changes are on the inside: a new chip, faster wireless charging and noticeably longer battery life.

In this category you'll find the used and refurbished Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus – the biggest model in the S26 line-up without an S Pen and without the Ultra price tag. The page lists 256 GB and 512 GB versions in six colours. Before a phone goes on sale, SWOPiFY partners give it a technical check and repair it if needed.

What exactly does the Galaxy S26 Plus have?

Its strongest point is the screen: a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with QHD+ resolution (1440 x 3120) and a refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz. The Plus also supports ProScaler, which sharpens the picture at higher resolution. The standard S26 doesn't have it. The body is made of an aluminium frame and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on both sides, rated IP68.

In Europe the phone runs on the Exynos 2600 with 12 GB of RAM. The cameras are the same set as on the smaller S26: a 50 MP main camera with optical image stabilisation, a 12 MP ultra-wide and a 10 MP telephoto with 3x zoom, plus a 12 MP front camera with autofocus.

The battery is 4900 mAh. According to Samsung, the 45 W charger gets it to 69% in half an hour, and wirelessly the phone charges at 20 W. On the category page you'll find violet, blue, black, white, silver and pink gold.

The S26 Plus compared with the S25+, S26 and Ultra

Compared with the S25+, two things have changed. In Europe the Snapdragon 8 Elite has been replaced by the Exynos 2600, and wireless charging has gone up from 15 to 20 W. The screen, battery and cameras are the same. Even so, in GSMArena's tests the Plus lasted almost two hours longer on a charge than its predecessor. Reviewers still called it only a minor update. A refurbished S25+ therefore gives you almost the same experience. Choose the S26 Plus if longer battery life and an extra year of updates matter to you.

Over the standard S26, the Plus has a bigger, sharper screen, a battery with 600 mAh more capacity and 45 W charging instead of 25 W, but it weighs 23 g more. The Ultra adds a 200 MP camera, the S Pen and the privacy filter. If you don't need those, the Plus gives you a big screen without paying for the rest.

Why consider a refurbished Galaxy S26 Plus?

A refurbished Galaxy S26 Plus costs less than a new one, so you pay less for a big QHD+ screen than you would in a shop. With the Plus the difference is noticeable, because new it was clearly more expensive than the S26.

A phone with a big battery and seven years of support can serve several owners in turn. Buying refurbished doesn't make it a fully green choice, but working hardware doesn't end up on the e-waste pile too early.

What should you look out for with the Galaxy S26 Plus?

You'll only get the full 45 W with a USB-PD charger that supports PPS. With a regular power adapter the phone charges more slowly. Wireless charging is the same story as across the whole series: the S26 Plus is Qi2-ready but has no magnets, so magnetic mounts need a case with a ring.

The Exynos 2600 does well in the Plus. GSMArena praised its stable performance under load, slightly better than in the smaller S26. Snapdragon versions went to North America and China, so reviews from other markets may cover a different chip.

In this category you can filter smartphones by:

  • storage – 256 GB or 512 GB;
  • RAM – 12 GB in both versions;
  • colour;
  • price range;
  • condition.

If you're buying the Plus for films and series offline, go for 512 GB, because you can't expand the storage with a card. For everyday use with your photos backed up to the cloud, 256 GB is enough.

Can you trust a refurbished Galaxy S26 Plus?

A refurbished Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus is a used device and that's how we present it – we never suggest it's new. SWOPiFY partners check it against a 44-point checklist that covers, among other things, the screen, battery, cameras, fingerprint reader and face recognition, connectivity, microphone and speakers. Its condition is given by one of these grades: Premium, Excellent, Good or Fair.

Every purchase is covered by a warranty, so if something goes wrong you make a warranty claim instead of trying to track down a seller from a classified ad.
