Samsung Galaxy S25 Series used and refurbished

A year earlier, the European Galaxy S24 and S24+ came with Exynos chips, and only the Ultra got a Snapdragon. With the Galaxy S25, Samsung dropped that split: the S25, S25+, S25 Ultra and S25 Edge all run the same Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy. You choose the size, camera and battery, not the chip version. There's one exception – the S25 FE, which uses the Exynos 2400.

In this category you'll find used and refurbished Samsung Galaxy S25 phones in five versions: the S25, S25+, S25 Ultra, the slim S25 Edge and the S25 FE. SWOPiFY partners check every unit before it's listed, and if anything needs fixing, they repair it first.

Which Galaxy S25 models can you find in this category?

The Galaxy S25 is the smallest phone in the line-up: a 6.2-inch screen, 162 g, a 4000 mAh battery and 25 W wired charging. The S25+ has exactly the same cameras – 50 MP main, 12 MP ultra-wide and 10 MP with 3x optical zoom – but adds a 6.7-inch QHD+ display, a 4900 mAh battery and 45 W charging.

The S25 Ultra has a 6.9-inch screen, a titanium frame, a 200 MP main camera, two telephoto lenses (3x and 5x) and a new 50 MP ultra-wide. The S Pen still lives inside the body, but for the first time without Bluetooth, so Air Actions gestures and remote shutter control are gone. Writing and note-taking work just as before.

The S25 Edge arrived in May 2025 and is only 5.8 mm thick, weighing 163 g. It keeps the Ultra's 200 MP camera but has no telephoto lens, and its battery is 3900 mAh. The S25 FE is the cheapest way into this generation: 6.7 inches, 8 GB of RAM, a 4900 mAh battery, 45 W charging and 50, 12 and 8 MP cameras with 3x zoom.

Why consider a refurbished Galaxy S25?

A refurbished Galaxy S25 costs less than the same model bought new, and software support is still measured in years. For what you'd pay for a new base model, you can often go for an S25+ or a version with more storage.

A phone that works fine doesn't have to end up as e-waste just because its first owner upgraded. A refurbished unit doesn't wipe out its environmental footprint, but it does extend the life of hardware that already exists.

What should you look out for when choosing a Galaxy S25?

Samsung has promised the whole generation seven major Android updates and seven years of security patches. The clock starts at launch: the S25, S25+ and Ultra came out in January 2025, the Edge in May and the FE in September. Buy any of them today and you still have more than five years of support ahead.

This generation brought Galaxy AI features such as Now Brief, Now Bar, Audio Eraser for cleaning up sound, and Gemini commands that work across several apps at once. Samsung has said its built-in features will stay free, while Google decides the pricing of Gemini services. None of the S25 models has a microSD slot, and the S25 FE uses an optical fingerprint reader instead of an ultrasonic one.

In this category you can filter phones by:

  • storage – from 128 GB to 1 TB;
  • RAM – 8 GB in the S25 FE, 12 GB in the other models;
  • colour;
  • price range;
  • condition.

If you often shoot from a distance, go for the Ultra – it's the only one with 5x zoom. The Edge is tempting because it's so light, but on a busy day with navigation and lots of photos, its 3900 mAh battery runs out sooner. You can't add a memory card, so only pick 128 GB if you keep your photos in the cloud.

How do SWOPiFY partners check a Galaxy S25?

Every unit goes through a 44-point checklist before it appears in the shop. Among other things, the partner checks:

  • the screen – touch, pixels and scratches;
  • the battery – health and physical condition;
  • every camera, front and back;
  • the fingerprint reader and face recognition;
  • Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and NFC;
  • SIM card detection;
  • speakers and microphones;
  • the USB-C port and other connectors.

The checks are carried out by specialist companies that SWOPiFY selects in a multi-stage process. If any point on the list fails, the phone goes in for repair rather than straight on sale.

Can you trust a refurbished Galaxy S25?

The refurbished Samsung Galaxy S25 phones in this category are used devices. We don't sell them as new and never suggest otherwise. Each unit's condition is described by one of four grades – Premium, Very good, Good or Fair – and each grade has its own requirements for appearance, battery health and the parts used.

Your purchase comes with a warranty. If something stops working, you have a formal way to make a claim, which you usually don't get when buying from a private listing.
