The Xiaomi 14 debuted in China in October 2023 as the first phone with the HyperOS skin, which replaced MIUI. The series reached Europe in February 2024, at MWC in Barcelona, together with the photography-focused Xiaomi 14 Ultra. The idea was simple: a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and Leica optics in a body you can comfortably use with one hand. In autumn 2024 they were joined by the 14T and 14T Pro, running on MediaTek chips.
At SWOPiFY you'll find used and refurbished Xiaomi 14 series phones – from the compact Xiaomi 14 and the camera-focused 14 Ultra to the 14T and 14T Pro, including a version with 1 TB of storage. Before any of them appears in the listings, SWOPiFY partners check it technically, and if something needs fixing, they send it in for repair.
Which Xiaomi 14 models can you find at SWOPiFY?
The Xiaomi 14 has a 6.36-inch screen, three 50 MP cameras (main, ultra-wide and 3.2x telephoto), 90 W wired and 50 W wireless charging, and an IP68-rated body. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra was made for people who take photos more often than they make calls. It has a 1-inch-type sensor with a variable f/1.63–4.0 aperture, two telephoto lenses – 3.2x and a 5x periscope – and a 5000 mAh battery. The 14 Pro, known from Chinese shops, was never officially sold outside China.
The T series is a different take on the same generation. The Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro have a bigger 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a 144 Hz refresh rate, a 5000 mAh battery and 12 GB of RAM. The 14T, with the Dimensity 8300-Ultra chip, charges at 67 W. The 14T Pro, with the Dimensity 9300+, takes 120 W by cable and 50 W wirelessly. It's a pair for those who care about a big screen and short charging times.
Why consider a refurbished Xiaomi 14?
A refurbished Xiaomi 14 costs you less than the same model bought new, and you still get a flagship processor and Leica-branded cameras. The price difference often lets you go for the 14T Pro with 120 W charging or a version with more storage, instead of settling for a new mid-range phone.
This generation still has several years of security patches ahead of it, so putting it away in a drawer after two years is a waste. A second owner doesn't turn the purchase into a fully green gesture. It does mean, though, that a factory doesn't have to assemble another smartphone just to replace one that works.
What should you check before buying?
Start with updates. According to the official Xiaomi Trust Center list, the Xiaomi 14 is set to get security patches until February 2029, the 14 Ultra until March 2029, and the 14T and 14T Pro until September 2029. For the Xiaomi 14 and the 14T models, the maker announced four major Android updates, counting from Android 14, which they launched with. The second thing is where the unit comes from. The Xiaomi 14 and 14 Ultra were also sold in China, with software for that market and without Google services pre-installed, and the Chinese 14 Ultra has a 5300 mAh battery instead of 5000 mAh. Check the description to make sure you're buying the global version.
You can filter Xiaomi 14 smartphones by:
- storage – from 256 GB to 1 TB in the Xiaomi 14T Pro;
- RAM – 12 GB, or 16 GB in the 512 GB Xiaomi 14 Ultra;
- colour – black, grey, blue, green or white;
- price range;
- condition.
If you spend most of your time with the camera, aim for the 14 Ultra or the 14T Pro, which has a larger main sensor than the 14T. When handiness and cable-free charging matter, choose the base Xiaomi 14 – it's the smallest phone of this generation.
What does the technical check involve?
Before a Xiaomi 14 series smartphone goes on sale as refurbished, it goes through a 44-point checklist, including:
- AMOLED screen – touch, brightness, discolouration and the state of the glass;
- battery – health and physical condition;
- all cameras, including the telephoto lenses and the front camera;
- in-display fingerprint reader and face unlock;
- wired charging and – on models that have it – wireless charging;
- Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, 5G and SIM card detection;
- speakers, microphones and USB-C port.
Can you trust refurbished Xiaomi 14 smartphones?
Refurbished Xiaomi 14 smartphones at SWOPiFY are used phones that SWOPiFY partners have checked and, where needed, repaired. We don't present them as new, and we never suggest it anywhere.
Every unit is assigned a condition grade: Premium, Excellent, Good or Fair. The grade tells you what the casing and screen look like and what condition the battery is in. So you know whether you're getting a unit without a mark on it or a cheaper one with scratches. Your purchase comes with a warranty.
