Oppo officially entered the Polish market in early 2019. In this category the A and Reno series dominate, while the flagship Find models appear less often. These cheaper models often reach a second owner after two or three years – still working fine, just no longer the latest.
In this category you'll find used and refurbished Oppo phones – from the budget A series, through the Reno line with its focus on design and cameras, to the Find models, including the foldable Find N2 Flip. Before going back on sale, every handset goes through a technical check with SWOPiFY partners and, if necessary, a repair as well.
Which Oppo phones will you find in this category?
The A series is the largest group: from the basic A12, A15, A16 and A17, through the A53, A54, A57 and A77, to the newer A78, A96, A98 5G, A3 and A40m. These are phones for everyday things – messages, photos, navigation, banking – usually with a big battery. Don't expect flagship performance, but the price is low.
Reno is the series where Oppo puts the emphasis on design and the selfie camera. Various generations turn up – from the Reno 3 and Reno 4, through the Reno 5, 6 and 8T, to the Reno 10, Reno 11F and Reno 12 Pro. It's the one to go for if you want a good-looking, slim phone with a decent screen without paying for a flagship.
Find is the top tier. The Find X3 Lite and Find X5 Pro are classic smartphones, while the Find N2 Flip is a flip phone that folds down to fit a small pocket. All models run Android with the ColorOS skin.
Why consider a refurbished Oppo phone?
A refurbished Oppo phone costs less than the same model bought new. In the A series the saving lets you stretch to more storage, and with Reno and Find you can go for a model one step up from what you'd planned. A refurbished Reno often turns out to be a better buy than a new budget phone.
Buying a used phone has another side too. A working device gets more years of use instead of adding to the growing mountain of e-waste. That doesn't turn the purchase into a fully green act – that would be an exaggeration – but it's an easy way to avoid making yet another device just because the previous one changed hands.
What should you check before buying?
The oldest A-series models, such as the A12, A15 and A16, have only 32 GB or 64 GB of storage and no longer get new Android versions. They're fine for calls and messaging apps. If you install a lot of apps, though, choose a model with 128 GB from a newer year. You'll find the system version on the product page.
In this category you can filter phones by:
- storage – from 32 GB to 512 GB;
- RAM;
- colour;
- price range;
- condition.
If photos matter to you, look in the Reno or Find series. If you need 5G, check the specs – in the A series only some models support it, such as the A78 5G and A98 5G. If the phone is mainly for calls and WhatsApp, the A series will do the job and leave more money in your pocket.
What does the technical check involve?
Every Oppo phone goes through a 44-point check before it goes on sale. The list includes, among other things:
- the screen – touch sensitivity and cosmetic condition;
- the battery – health and any damage;
- the cameras – every one the device has;
- the fingerprint reader and face recognition;
- connectivity – Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC;
- SIM card detection;
- microphone and speakers;
- ports and connectors.
The checks are carried out by SWOPiFY partners who specialise in refurbishing electronics. If anything needs fixing, they do it before the phone is listed.
Can you trust refurbished Oppo phones?
The refurbished Oppo phones in this category are used devices that have passed a technical check and, where needed, been repaired. We don't sell them as new, and we never suggest they are.
Every phone comes with a warranty. Its condition is described by one of the grades: Premium, Very good, Good or Fair, so you know before ordering whether the body shows signs of use. When you buy online, you can't hold the phone in your hand – this information goes some way towards making up for that.
Got an old phone you no longer use?
Use our buyback programme and knock its value off your next purchase. It's less hassle than selling it yourself, and the phone goes back into circulation instead of lying in a drawer.
