Xiaomi Redmi Note Series used and refurbished
Xiaomi unveiled the first Redmi Note in China in March 2014: a 5.5-inch screen, an eight-core processor and a price well below the flagships of the day. The idea hasn't changed since – a big screen, a large battery and specs you'd normally pay more for. By December 2025 Xiaomi had shipped more than 460 million phones from this series, in over a hundred countries.
At SWOPiFY you'll find used and refurbished Xiaomi Redmi Note phones – from the Redmi Note 9 and Note 9 Pro, through the Note 10S, 10 Pro and 12S, up to the Note 13 Pro and Note 14 Pro+ 5G. Before a phone is listed, SWOPiFY partners check it, and if anything needs fixing, it goes in for repair first.
Which Xiaomi Redmi Note models can you find at SWOPiFY?
The Redmi Note is the mid-range tier of the Redmi family, and the specs show it. The Note 7 from 2019 already had a 48 MP camera. The 10 generation brought AMOLED screens to the series, and the Note 13 Pro got a 200 MP camera with optical stabilisation and 67 W charging. On the series page you'll also find the Note 12 5G, Note 13 5G and Note 14 Pro.
The suffix in the name tells you the class. The version without a suffix is the base model, "S" usually means a mid-year refresh, and "Pro" a better camera and faster charging. At the top sits "Pro+": the Note 14 Pro+ 5G has a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, 120 W charging and an IP68-rated body. If you're looking for a phone to keep for years, aim for a Pro or Pro+. For calls, messaging and maps, the base version is enough.
Why consider a refurbished Redmi Note?
A refurbished Redmi Note costs less than a new unit of the same model, and the difference lets you reach one tier higher. Instead of a new base version, you could consider a refurbished Note Pro from the previous year – with a better camera and faster charging.
An AMOLED screen and a powerful processor don't go out of date after two years, even if the first owner has moved on to a newer model. A second owner isn't a cure for e-waste. It's simply a phone that keeps working instead of lying in a drawer.
What should you check before buying?
Check updates first. The Redmi Note 11, 11S and 11 5G dropped off Xiaomi's support list in February 2025, and older generations even earlier. The Note 12 5G lost patches in March 2026, and according to Xiaomi's schedule the 12 Pro 5G and 12 Pro+ 5G reach the end of support in October 2026. The Note 13 series is set to get security patches until early 2028, although the Note 13 Pro 4G may not get HyperOS 4 based on Android 17. Watch out with the Note 14: the 4G version has been promised four major updates and six years of patches, while the Note 14 5G gets only two updates and four years. The same name doesn't always mean the same insides either. The Note 13 Pro 4G has a Helio G99 Ultra processor, and the Note 13 Pro 5G the faster Snapdragon 7s Gen 2. The Redmi Note 11E, on the other hand, is a Chinese-market model, so before buying, make sure what system it runs and whether Google services work on it.
You can filter Xiaomi Redmi Note smartphones by:
- storage – from 64 GB to 512 GB;
- RAM – from 3 GB to 12 GB;
- colour, including white, purple, green and grey;
- price range;
- condition.
If security patches matter to you, for example because of a banking app, choose from the Note 13 series upwards. A Note 9 or Note 10S with 64 GB works better as a spare phone or a child's first smartphone.
What does the technical check involve?
Before a Redmi Note series smartphone goes on sale as refurbished, it goes through a 44-point checklist, including:
- screen – touch, brightness, discolouration and signs of burn-in on AMOLED panels;
- battery – health, physical condition and whether fast charging works;
- all cameras, including image stabilisation on the Pro models;
- fingerprint reader and face unlock;
- Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and 5G on versions that support it;
- SIM card detection and the microSD card reader;
- speakers, microphones and USB-C port.
