The Galaxy Z Fold6 is two devices in one body. Folded, it works like an ordinary smartphone with a 6.3-inch screen you can use one-handed on the tram. Unfold it and you get an almost square 7.6-inch display where a document, a map or a film finally has room to breathe. It weighs 239 g – not much more than a large flagship in a conventional body.

At SWOPiFY you'll find used and refurbished Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 phones in 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB versions, in silver, black, pink, white and navy. Every unit is technically checked by SWOPiFY partners before it goes on sale, and if something needs repairing, it goes to the repair workshop first.

What can the Galaxy Z Fold6 do?

The big screen is what makes the biggest difference. On the taskbar, similar to the one on a computer, you pin your favourite apps and switch between them with a single tap. You can split the screen into as many as three windows, say email, calendar and a messenger, and open one more app in a small floating window on top. For reading e-books and looking through photos, the 7.6-inch format works better than the elongated screen of a regular phone.

The Fold6 supports a stylus, but only on the large inner screen. The S Pen Fold Edition or the S Pen Pro will work – styluses from the Galaxy S Ultra and Note won't. It's a separate accessory, so if you want to take handwritten notes, check whether it comes with the unit you've chosen.

Processor, cameras and battery

Every version runs a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with 12 GB of RAM, so there's no difference between models from different markets. On the back are three cameras: a 50 MP main camera with optical stabilisation, a 12 MP ultra-wide and a 10 MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom. For selfies there's a 10 MP camera on the cover screen and a 4 MP camera hidden under the inner screen – the latter is fine for video calls.

The battery has a capacity of 4400 mAh. Wired charging runs at 25 W, wireless at 15 W, and the phone can also top up earbuds or a watch placed on its back.

What should you check before buying?

The Fold6 is rated IP48. Rain or a brief dip won't harm it, but it isn't protected against dust and sand, so it's best left at home when you go to the beach. The inner screen is covered by a factory protective film – don't remove it yourself, and if it starts peeling, have it replaced at a repair shop. The crease in the middle of the screen is visible in the light, which is normal for this design.

Updates are no problem: Samsung promised the Fold6 seven years of new system versions and security patches, and in October 2026 the phone started receiving One UI 9 with Android 17. If you're considering the newer Fold7, bear in mind that it's thinner and lighter and has a 200 MP camera, but no longer supports a stylus.

You can filter the available Galaxy Z Fold6 units by:

  • storage – 256 GB, 512 GB or 1 TB;
  • RAM – 12 GB in every version;
  • colour;
  • price range;
  • condition.

If you keep lots of photos and videos on your phone, go straight for 512 GB. The Fold6 has no memory card slot, and 256 GB fills up quickly when you record high-resolution video.

How does the technical check work?

A foldable phone has more parts that need checking than a classic smartphone. Before a Galaxy Z Fold6 goes on sale as refurbished, it goes through a 44-point checklist, including:

  • hinge – smooth opening and closing, no play or creaking;
  • both screens – touch, pixels and the condition of the film on the inner screen;
  • battery – health and physical condition;
  • all cameras, including the one under the screen;
  • the fingerprint reader in the power button;
  • connectivity – Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC;
  • speakers, microphones and the USB-C port.

Can you trust a refurbished Galaxy Z Fold6?

A refurbished Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 from SWOPiFY is a used phone, checked by SWOPiFY partners and repaired where needed. We don't sell it as new and never suggest that it is.

A warranty is included with your purchase. The cosmetic condition and battery health of each unit are described by one of four grades: Premium, Excellent, Good or Fair. With a foldable this is especially useful, because you know straight away what to expect from the screen and the casing.
