The Xiaomi 13 series is the brand's first line of Leica-branded flagships to go on sale officially in Europe. The earlier 12S series, the fruit of the two companies' first collaboration, stayed in China. The Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro were unveiled globally at the end of February 2023 in Barcelona, and in September they were joined by the 13T and 13T Pro – also with cameras tuned together with Leica.

The 13T and 13T Pro look like twins and share a 6.67-inch 144 Hz display, a 5000 mAh battery, a 50 MP camera with a 2x telephoto lens and IP68 certification. The 13T has the MediaTek Dimensity 8200-Ultra chip and 67 W charging. The 13T Pro got the more powerful Dimensity 9200+ and 120 W charging, and its top version has 1 TB of storage and 16 GB of RAM. It's a good choice for someone who wants flagship performance but doesn't need wireless charging.

Why consider a refurbished Xiaomi 13?

A refurbished Xiaomi 13 costs less than the same model did on launch day, and these phones still have current support and enough performance for several more years. For roughly the price of a new mid-ranger, you can have a 13T Pro or 13 Pro with a clearly better camera.

A phone that gets a new owner keeps working longer instead of going to recycling after two or three years. It won't save the planet, but with a model that will keep getting patches for years to come, the choice makes a lot of sense.

What should you check before buying?

Updates are in good shape here, though not equally so. For the 13T and 13T Pro, Xiaomi announced four more Android versions and five years of patches, and the Xiaomi Trust Center gives the end of support as 4 October 2028. The Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro get patches until 8 March 2028, and the 13 Lite only until 2 March 2027, so that model will drop off the list first. The 13T Pro got HyperOS 3 with Android 16 in Europe in February 2026. It's also worth knowing that the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro hit the Chinese market first. If you want the global version with Google services, check the model number – the global 13 Pro is 2210132G, and the Chinese one is 2210132C.
