Samsung Galaxy M33 used and refurbished
The Galaxy M33 5G is a big, easy-to-use phone from 2022 where smoothness comes first. The 6.6-inch screen refreshes at 120 Hz, the 5 nm processor supports 5G, and the 5000 mAh battery lasts a full day of navigation, music and photos.
At SWOPiFY you'll find used and refurbished Samsung Galaxy M33 5G phones in the 128 GB version with 6 GB of RAM, in blue, brown and green. Every phone is checked by SWOPiFY partners first, and if something isn't working properly, it goes to a repair service before it's sold.
What can the Galaxy M33 5G do?
The display is a Full HD+ LCD panel under Gorilla Glass 5. At 120 Hz, scrolling through pages and lists is very smooth. Blacks aren't as deep as on AMOLED screens, but colours look natural and there's no risk of static interface elements burning in. There's one speaker, on the bottom edge.
The phone weighs 198 g and has a plastic frame and back, but no water resistance rating at all. Your fingerprint is read by a sensor in the power button on the side. There's NFC, so contactless payments work without any extra accessories. The phone also supports two SIM cards.
Processor, cameras and battery
Inside is the Exynos 1280 with 6 GB of RAM. It's the same processor Samsung used in several 2022 mid-rangers, and it still handles social media, high-quality video, lots of browser tabs and popular games on medium settings well. The camera set-up is a 50 MP main, a 5 MP ultra-wide, a 2 MP macro and a 2 MP depth sensor. In good light the main camera takes decent photos; the others are more of a supporting act. The front camera is 8 MP.
The European version has a 5000 mAh battery, the Indian one 6000 mAh. Wired charging works at 25 W, and in a pinch you can top up another device over USB-C at 4.5 W. There's no wireless charging.
What should you check before buying?
The Galaxy M33 5G has a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a dedicated microSD slot, so you can expand storage without giving up your second number. Its weaker side is the 8 MP front camera – fine for video calls, less so for selfies in poor light.
Samsung kept its promise of four major updates, and the phone received Android 16 with One UI 8. In May 2026, however, it ended support for this model, so there won't be any more regular security patches – at most a one-off patch for a serious vulnerability. Android 16 is still a recent version of the system, but without patches the risk grows with every month, and banks raise their requirements over time. For relaxed everyday use, as a phone for a teenager or a parent, the M33 5G still does the job. The older Galaxy M32, on the other hand, has an AMOLED screen, but doesn't support 5G and dropped off the update list back in 2025.
You can filter Galaxy M33 5G listings by:
- storage – 128 GB;
- RAM – 6 GB;
- colour;
- price range;
- condition.
128 GB is a sensible capacity for the system, apps and a few thousand photos. When you run out of space, a microSD card is all you need – there's no need to hunt for a bigger version.
What does the technical check involve?
Before a Galaxy M33 5G goes on sale as refurbished, it goes through a 44-point checklist, including:
- LCD screen – touch, backlight, image uniformity and the condition of the glass;
- battery – capacity and any deformation;
- the four rear cameras and the front camera;
- the fingerprint reader in the power button;
- connectivity – 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and NFC;
- detection of two SIM cards and a microSD card;
- speaker, microphones, 3.5 mm jack and USB-C port.
Can you trust a refurbished Galaxy M33 5G?
A refurbished Samsung Galaxy M33 5G from SWOPiFY is a used phone that has passed a technical check with a SWOPiFY partner and, if needed, had parts replaced or repaired. We sell it as used, not as new, and that's how we describe it.
Every order comes with a warranty. The condition grade – Premium, Excellent, Good or Fair – tells you what shape the battery is in and what the casing looks like. If the phone is going to live in a case for years, a cheaper unit with minor scratches may turn out to be the best choice.
Got an old smartphone you no longer use?
Sell it back through our trade-in programme and we'll deduct its value from the price of your new purchase. The phone goes back into circulation, and you don't have to find a buyer yourself.
