Xiaomi Poco used and refurbished

Poco started with a single phone. In August 2018, in New Delhi, Xiaomi unveiled the Pocophone F1 – a smartphone with what was then the flagship Snapdragon 845, at a mid-range price. In January 2020 Pocophone shortened its name to Poco and became a separate brand within Xiaomi. The idea stayed the same: as much performance as possible for sensible money, without paying extra for the badge.

At SWOPiFY you'll find used and refurbished Xiaomi Poco phones – from the budget Poco C40, C65 and C75, through the Poco M3, M5s and M6 Pro, up to the more powerful X5 Pro, X6 Pro, F5 and F6 Pro. Every unit is checked by SWOPiFY partners first, and if something isn't right, the phone goes in for repair before it appears in the listings.

Which Xiaomi Poco models can you find at SWOPiFY?

The letter before the number tells you what to expect. The F series puts performance first: the Poco F2 Pro had a Snapdragon 865 and a pop-up selfie camera, the F6 got the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, and the F6 Pro the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 plus a 1 TB version. The X series is mid-range with a gaming edge, from the X3 Pro and X3 GT to the X6 Pro and X7 Pro. M stands for cheaper everyday phones, and C for the most basic models for calls and messaging apps.

Many Poco phones are global versions of models sold in China under the Redmi brand. The Poco F3 is the Redmi K40, the Poco X6 Pro is the Redmi K70E, and the F6 Pro is the Redmi K70. For you that's good news: you get hardware proven in a big market, in a global version.

Why consider a refurbished Poco?

A refurbished Poco costs less than the same model bought new, even though on launch day it was already one of the cheaper ways to get a powerful processor. A refurbished F5 or X6 Pro gets you a higher-tier chip without spending money on a new flagship.

A powerful chip doesn't stop making sense after a year or two, even if the first owner has moved on to a newer model. A second user won't solve the e-waste problem, but it does keep one working phone in use instead of waiting for recycling.

What should you check before buying?

With Poco, updates matter most, because older models drop off quickly. The Poco M4 Pro and X4 Pro 5G stopped receiving patches in February 2025, the X5 Pro 5G in early 2026, and the F5 and F5 Pro in May 2026. The Poco C65 reaches the end of support in November 2026. Among the newer models, the X6 Pro comes out best: it was the first Xiaomi phone sold globally with HyperOS out of the box, and Xiaomi promised it three major Android updates and four years of security patches. The Poco F6 is set to get patches until May 2028. Watch out for similar names, too. The Poco M4 Pro and M4 Pro 5G are two different phones – the first has an AMOLED screen and a Helio G96 processor, the second an LCD screen and a Dimensity 810. And if you come across a Chinese counterpart from the Redmi K series somewhere, remember that the Chinese software version doesn't come with Google services out of the box.

You can filter Xiaomi Poco smartphones by:

  • storage – from 128 GB to 512 GB;
  • RAM – from 6 GB to 12 GB;
  • colour – black, blue and yellow, the shade Poco has released many of its models in;
  • price range;
  • condition.

If you game and want peace of mind on updates, start with the X6 Pro or the F6 series. The M4 Pro or X5 Pro is a sensible choice for a spare phone, but without new security patches you're better off not keeping a banking app on it.

What does the technical check involve?

Before a Poco smartphone goes on sale as refurbished, it goes through a 44-point checklist, including:

  • screen – touch, smoothness at high refresh rates, brightness and discolouration;
  • battery – health, physical condition and fast charging;
  • performance under load and how hot the body gets;
  • all cameras, front and rear;
  • face unlock and the fingerprint reader, on Poco phones often built into the power button;
  • 5G, NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and SIM card detection;
  • speakers, microphones and USB-C port.

Can you trust refurbished Xiaomi Poco smartphones?

Refurbished Poco smartphones at SWOPiFY are used phones. They've been checked by SWOPiFY partners and, where necessary, repaired. We don't pass them off as brand new – not in the description, not in any other way.

Every unit shows its condition grade: Premium, Excellent, Good or Fair. It describes the look of the casing and the health of the battery, so you know whether you're picking a phone without a mark on it or a cheaper one with scratches. Your purchase comes with a warranty.
