Frequently asked questions

What charger should I use for the Samsung Galaxy S23?

For optimal charging of the Samsung Galaxy S23, a 25 W USB-C charger with Power Delivery support is recommended. It provides fast and stable charging without harming the battery. Since the S23 doesn’t support 45 W charging, using a more powerful charger won’t speed things up. Wireless charging is also supported, though it’s a bit slower.

How do I turn off the Samsung Galaxy S23?

To power off the Samsung Galaxy S23, press and hold the side key together with the volume down button until the power menu appears. Then tap on “Power off” and confirm. If the phone opens Bixby instead, you can go into settings and reassign the button’s long-press action.

How long does the battery last on the Samsung Galaxy S23?

The Samsung Galaxy S23 can last a full day with standard use. Activities like browsing, streaming or using social apps usually give you between 10 and 13 hours of screen time. If you play games or use more demanding apps, the battery might run out after about 8 hours.

Until when is the Samsung Galaxy S23 supported?

The Samsung Galaxy S23 is eligible for Android updates for four years after its release, which means it will stay up to date until around 2027. In addition, it will continue to receive security patches for five years in total, providing protection through 2028.
