How does Trade-In work?

The Trade-In programme is a service that enables customers to sell their devices quickly, transparently and securely, without having to find a buyer or arrange shipping themselves.

The process begins with the customer filling in the form available on the Platform under the Sell equipment button. In the form, the customer selects the product they wish to sell, the manufacturer, model, storage capacity, colour, and technical and visual condition. Based on the information provided, the system generates a preliminary buyback offer, i.e. a price proposal that the Partner is willing to pay for the device in the declared condition. The offer is presented in a clear and understandable manner, so that the customer immediately knows how much they will receive if the description is confirmed to match the actual condition of the equipment following verification. The customer can review the valuation and decide whether to accept or reject it. Acceptance of the offer marks the start of the device sale procedure under the scheme.

The Seller sets out a list of devices they are willing to buy back in their dashboard, assigning a price to each model based on one of six possible technical conditions: four functional and two non-functional. If the Seller’s offer is the most favourable and the customer accepts it, an order is automatically created in the Seller’s dashboard. From the moment the offer is accepted, the customer has 10 days to send the device to the Partner. Within 1 working day of acceptance, the Partner should generate a shipping label and send it to the customer via the Helpdesk tool. Upon receipt of the parcel, the Partner carries out a detailed technical and visual inspection of the product. If, during the inspection, it transpires that the actual condition of the device differs from that declared in the form (e.g. different specifications, visible damage, a different model, colour or memory version), the Partner may present the customer with a counter-offer with a new valuation. The customer may accept this, resulting in settlement under the new terms, or reject it, in which case the Partner returns the device without finalising the buyback.

Following successful verification of the equipment, provided it matches the description, or upon acceptance of the new valuation, the payment is processed.

Note: It is important that, before sending the device, the customer logs out of all accounts (e.g. Google, iCloud) and removes any locks and personal data. This also applies if the device is faulty. Devices that are bent or show signs of corrosion/oxidation will not be accepted. We recommend taking a photo of the device showing its current technical and visual condition before dispatch.
